My first question to you would be.. Does you ebay id/store name reflect the products you sell? If it does not... start brainstorming!!

One of the best starter tips I can offer to anyone selling on eBay is dont pick a name that reflects who you are.. choose a name that reflects the theme of the items you sell!

Remember keep it short, sweet, & to the point.. You want your name to be remembered on eBay. Abbreviations, numbers, etc are not memorable. Nouns are your friend.

Sellers often find the amount of traffic received is worth the cost of listing a featured listing in the totally bizarre category. I definately recommend experimenting with this method.

customer service is key! Answer every question no matter how insignificant it
may seem. Surveys have shown that potential customers will often ask a seller a
seemingly innocuous question just to see how that seller responds. Ever get
those ASQ's that say "can you tell me the measurements of this piece?" when you
KNOW that the measurements are clearly defined in the description of the
listing? Instead of getting annoyed and possibly giving a snippy reply or
brushing off the question as insignificant, take the time to make them feel like
no question is too small and you're happy to help. I've earned many repeat,
high volume customers that started out as a question I was groaning about
answering. (Currently about 1 in 3 of my transactions are with returning
customers)
